Distribution Times

The Food Pantry has new distribution hours from 11:00am - 1:00pm each month. For safety reasons, we offer a drive-through distribution, so please stay in your vehicle until the pantry opens at 11 on our once-per-month dates. If there is a 2-hour delay for the schools, we will still have the Food Pantry open. However, if schools are canceled, we will postpone the Food Pantry for one week. Distribution days are scheduled for:

May 14th
June 11th
July 9th
August 6th
September 3rd
October 1st
November 12th
December 10th

Note to Recipients:

New paperwork will need to be filled out in July 2023. Please bring a photo ID and proof of residence, such as an electric bill, phone bill, etc.

Volunteers Needed

Each Tuesday prior to the day Living Word Community Church Food Pantry is open to the public, workers are needed from 10:00am-12:00pm to help unload food trucks, stock shelves, and prepare boxes. We also need your help praying that enough food and finances are available to continue to reach the needs of our local families. Please reach out if you are interested in serving!

More Info

The Food Pantry was opened in September 2014. Our purpose is to provide food to families in need who reside in either the Greencastle-Antrim or Tuscarora school districts. Our primary support comes from our church families. The main resource for purchasing food is the Central Pa. Food Bank in Harrisburg.
